Phoenix Rising: A Fundraiser for Lora Wereb
Wednesday, June 6th, 7pm-midnight, $10 cover

Lora Wereb – photographer, veterinary tech, stage builder,
fire performer, thespian and beloved member of our Santa Barbara family – was
unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in March of this year. Her prognosis is good. But even with health insurance, the
medical treatments have left her with bills that will be daunting for her to
try and manage on her own. With
this event, we aim to have a riotously good time while contributing to Lora’s
spirits and providing the fiscal support she needs to get through this
difficult time.
The infamous Pyrobar will be in residence, providing an
otherworldly ambiance for the night’s performances, which will include aerial
and fire arts. A bevy of DJ artists will lay down a bold and groovacious soundtrack for the evening. Bring wallets well-padded, for the
raffle and silent auction will feature selections guaranteed to entice, including
massages, fancy dinners, exotic art, and one-of-a-kind entertainment services.
Lora has given her sweat and artistic vision generously to
our community for the last ten years… please come to Red’s and show your
support!
